Organ Scholars' Recital

Somerville College is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its recently restored Harrison organ in a special concert that will bring together two generations of organ scholars: Somerville's first organ scholar and college organist Sam Bayliss (2001-2005) joins current organ scholars Douglas Knight and Robert Pecksmith for an exciting programme that will explore the full range of the instrument.

Robert will be playing works by Mendelssohn, Howells and Elgar as well as a surprise item. Rumour has it Darth Vader will be making a guest appearance...
